Project: We gave this kitchen a complete makeover. First, the kitchen cabinetry was updated using our refacing method. It included the refacing of the existing cabinetry with birch lumber. Using real wood allows for a new, custom, durable finish and to switch from the exposed hinges to the concealed. We then replaced the doors, drawer fronts and raised panels with new. The crown moulding was replaced with new and an additional moulding was added to the base of the upper cabinets. Next, we removed the laminate coutnertops and installed new Cambria (quartz) tops in the color Canterbury with an ogee edge. Last, we replaced the undercabinet lighting with new warm LED lights and added lighting above the cabinetry as well.
