Project: The base cabinetry was refaced and the upper cabinets were replaced with new custom cabinetry. The change was made from exposed hinges to the concealed. The ash with its distinct, open grain wood was updated to alder. Also, a new door style was selected – changing from the dated cathedral arch to an eyebrow. The new upper cabinets were built full height to reach the ceiling. A new corner unit appliance garage was added along with full depth uppers surrounding the refrigerator. Built-in wine storage was also included in the space available above the existing pantry.
